With either a single or a double front passenger seat, 3 fold down and 3 forward facing seats in the Cab there is easy access to all seats via the twin side doors.
Alternatively, 6 forward facing seats can be fitted using our Bus System. With the bus flooring system it is possible to have 4 seats across the vehicle allowing all 8 passengers to travel in the rear without the loss of luggage space.

Based on the medium wheelbase Transit LX our Ford Airport Taxi has an excessive amount of luggage space and still provides extravagant leg room for 8 passengers. The average passenger leg room is 500mm.yet still providing 1.9cubic meters of luggage space.
With the twin side doors the passengers are able to reach all seats with out the need to move or tilt any seat.
Conference seating is available at no extra cost.

The LWB is also capable of carrying 12 seated passengers or a mixture of seated and wheelchair passengers.
Please note that the SWB is supplied with a low roof as standard but is available with a medium roof. All other models are supplied with a medium roof though the medium wheelbase is available with a low roof if required.

Using our wealth of experience from Taxi and Minibus building we can supply a new Transit or convert your own Transit with 3, 4 or 6 extra seats with lap & diagonal seat belts with a new 15mm Birch Multi-ply floor fitted.
Using only top quality 15mm Birch Multi-ply we can fit a bulkhead behind the seats. In the medium and long wheelbase Transit the bulkhead can be fitted to give access to the rear storage area from the side doors or be fully enclosed.
Ply panelling can be fitted to protect the vulnerable section of the vehicles rear load area.
Ford windows can also be fitted as an option.
